The National Capital Area Chapter provides you the opportunity to participate in Memorial and Veteran’s Day activities in the Nations Capital. We have wreath layings’ at WW II , Korean and Viet Nam Veteran’s Memorials as well as services and wreath laying at the 101st Memorial in Arlington Cemetery. We provide the opportunity to gather for the full camaraderie of those that have served, are currently serving and remembering those fallen Eagles.
Wounded Eagle Program:
The National Capital Area Chapter is continuing to provide support to
our wounded Screaming Eagles at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center
. Thanks to many generous donations from Chapter members and others, we have provided financial assistance to over 110 of these soldiers and their families. This assistance, as well as the continuing presence of Chapter members Bob Seitz and Dick Winters, has gone a long way in assisting in the recovery or our wounded Eagles by helping to ease financial burdens for their families. The Chapter will continue this very important effort for as long as needed. We encourage all members to consider making donations to this effort. Not one cent of donated funds has been, or will be, spent on any administrative or other cost. One hundred percent goes directly to those who need it.
